What is Toy Spotter?
Toy Spotter is a free, independent price-comparison site for toys. We track live prices from the UK biggest toy retailers, record price history, and turn it into a simple Deal Score so you can buy at the right time.
How often are prices updated?
We refresh retailer feeds automatically throughout the day. Every listing shows when it was last checked. Because prices change constantly, always confirm the final price on the retailer own site before buying.
What is the Deal Score?
A traffic-light rating built from a product real price history. Green Excellent means the current price is at or near its lowest ever tracked; Amber Average means it is around its usual price; Red Wait means it is pricier than normal and often drops lower.
What does lowest ever mean?
It means the lowest price we have recorded since we started tracking that product. Our history begins when the item was added, so it reflects our records rather than all-time retail history — we are always clear about that.
Do you sell toys directly?
No. We are a comparison service, not a shop. We show you where a toy is cheapest and link you straight to the retailer, who handles the sale, payment and delivery.
Is Toy Spotter free?
Completely, and always will be. We may earn a small commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you — that is how we keep the service free.
Do affiliate links change the price I pay or your rankings?
No. Affiliate commission never changes the price you pay and never affects our Deal Score or which retailer we show first. We always list the cheapest in-stock price first.
How do I set a price or stock alert?
On any product page, enter your email and a target price for a price-drop alert, or choose the back-in-stock option. We will email you when the condition is met. No account needed, and you can unsubscribe from any alert in one click.
Which retailers do you compare?
We include major, reputable UK toy retailers and are adding more over time. Retailers are included on merit — for their range and reliable data — not because of any commercial arrangement.
A price looks wrong — what should I do?
Please tell us via the contact page. Feeds occasionally contain errors, and we will investigate and correct it. Always double-check on the retailer site before purchasing.
How is my data handled?
