These terms govern your use of Toy Spotter (the "Service"), available at toy-spotter.co.uk. By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What we do

Toy Spotter is an independent price-comparison service for toys. We display prices and product information gathered from third-party retailers and link you to those retailers to complete a purchase. We are not a shop: we don't sell products, take payment, or fulfil or ship orders. Any purchase is a contract between you and the retailer.

2. Price and product accuracy

Prices, discounts, stock status and product details are sourced from retailer feeds and updated regularly, but they can change at any moment and may occasionally be out of date or incorrect. The Deal Score and price history are indicative guidance based on the data we have recorded, not a guarantee. Always confirm the current price and details on the retailer's own website before buying. We are not liable for any difference between a price shown here and the retailer's price at checkout.

3. Affiliate links

Some links on Toy Spotter are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. This never affects the prices shown, our Deal Score, or how we rank retailers. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including scraping or copying our data at scale, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Toy Spotter name, design, Deal Score methodology, and our compiled price data are our property or that of our licensors. Product names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners and retailers, and are used to identify products for comparison.

6. External links

The Service links to third-party retailer websites. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content, prices, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep data accurate and the site running, but we can't guarantee it will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toy Spotter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or reliance on the information it provides, including purchasing decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms or the Service at any time. Continued use means you accept the current terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
